Because it's convenient - you work with your Counsellor when it suits you, you don't need to wait for an appointment to talk with your Counsellor.

It's accessible - it doesn't matter where you live, if you have internet access you don't even have to leave your home in order to engage in Counselling.

Q. How much does it cost?

After your first e-mail response from your counsellor which is FREE, your counsellor will discuss the cost with you which will depend on what type of counselling you choose.

Q. How many sessions will I need?

Everyone's needs are different and the frequency of contact with your counsellor will depend on your situation. This is something your counsellor will talk through with you after your e-mail has been received and responded to.

Q. What is meant by 'confidentiality?'

All our counsellors work within the BACP Guidelines, which state that the counsellor will maintain confidentiality of everything disclosed by the client - EXCEPT in the following three areas:

If the client discloses a serious intent to harm themselves.
If the client discloses a serious intent to harm someone else.
If the client discloses abuse of a child or an elderly person.

Q. What about if I'm under 18?

We are unable to offer support to those aged under 18 (because of UK legislation). Please contact Childline on 0800 1111 if you are under 18 and need to talk with someone.

Q. How will I know the Counsellor who responds is the right one for me?

The counsellor who responds to your e-mail will be one who is most suited to help you with your difficulties, given the nature of your worries as disclosed in your e-mail.

Q. How can a Life Coach help me?

Life Coaching uses a range of practical, effective, and purposeful techniques to help you challenge negative beliefs, find answers to your own questions, and create the life that you want. Working with a Life Coach allows you to have purposeful conversations that inspire you to creat the life that you want.
