Someone To Talk To
Counselling by e-mail, phone or post is ideal for those who cannot or do not feel able to visit a counsellor in person. Working with your counsellor via e-mail allows you to 'talk' at times that are convenient to you, when you feel able to sit down and express your thoughts and feelings in words. Unlike face to face counselling you do not need to wait for appointments to 'talk' with your counsellor.
With e-mail counselling you have a written record of the work you do together, so that you can refer back to it at any time. Counselling by phone allows you to talk with your counsellor at a pre-arranged time, and is often used in conjunction with e-mail counselling.
